The trade fight just got real. China is not staying silent after US President Donald Trump warned of new tariffs on countries supporting BRICS. On Monday, China hit back hard, calling the move “coercion” and saying trade wars only create losers.
At a press conference in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said, “We always oppose the use of tariffs as a tool to pressure others. There are no winners in a trade war.”
That’s China’s way of saying: we’re not playing your game.
BRICS: Not Anti-America, Just Pro-Cooperation
Let’s get something straight. BRICS is not a gang against America. It’s a group of rising economies — Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa — later joined by countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, and Iran.
