Anytime, Anywhere Learning: IIM Lucknow Launches New Blended MBA Program for Working Professionals

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has introduced a new Blended MBA (bMBA) program designed for mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs who want to boost their careers while continuing to work.

What is the bMBA Program?

This is a two-year MBA program that combines online classes with in-person sessions. It offers a flexible learning schedule, allowing participants to study while managing their jobs or businesses.

The program is divided into six terms:

  • Year 1: Core management subjects like marketing, strategy, finance, operations, and more.
  • Year 2: Elective courses where students can choose their area of interest.
  • Capstone Project: A real-world project where participants apply what they’ve learned.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be at least 24 years old
  • Have completed at least 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 4)
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience after graduation
  • Have at least 50% marks in graduation
  • Have a valid score from one of the following exams (from the last 5 years):
    CAT, GMAT, GRE, or GMAT Focus Edition

Other eligible qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Company Secretary (CS)
  • Cost and Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA)

Foreign degrees must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Important Dates:

  • Applications open: 11th July 2025
  • Applications close: 18th August 2025
  • Online interviews: 1st to 3rd September 2025
  • Program begins: 25th September 2025
