Bollywood star Aamir Khan recently made headlines, but this time not for his films. A video went viral showing around 25 IPS officers visiting his house in Bandra, which caused concern and curiosity among his fans. Many wondered why so many officers went to meet him right after the success of his latest movie, Sitaare Zameen Par.

The film, which talks about inclusivity and neurodivergence, was a big hit, earning ₹167 crore in India and receiving a lot of love from the audience.

When reporters contacted Aamir’s team for a statement about the police visit, they replied, “We are still figuring it out with Aamir.” They did not give any clear reason for the visit yet.

Meanwhile, Aamir is getting ready to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, which will take place from August 14 to 24. He will be the Chief Guest at the event. The festival will also have a special segment celebrating his work, ending with a screening of Sitaare Zameen Par.

Talking about the festival, Aamir said,
“I’m honoured and excited to be part of IFFM. This festival truly celebrates Indian cinema. I look forward to meeting the audience, sharing my journey, and discussing the power of films. I’m happy that Sitaare Zameen Par has touched hearts.”

Looking ahead, Aamir will next be seen in the biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He also shared that he’s preparing to start working on his long-awaited dream project, Mahabharat, this year.
