India doesn’t back down. And this time, the message is clear—when terrorists attack, there will be consequences. In a decisive move, the Indian government has shut 32 airports across northern and western India until May 15, following precision military strikes on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Why Are Airports Closed?

  • Retaliation for Terror Attacks: After Pakistan-backed terrorists killed 26 civilians in Pahalgam on April 22, India struck back with Operation Sindoor—hitting nine terror camps deep inside PoK on May 7.
  • Preemptive Security: Pakistan retaliated with shelling near the border. India isn’t taking chances—32 airports near sensitive zones are now under strict no-fly orders.
  • Military Readiness: With tensions high, keeping airspace clear ensures our forces can act swiftly if needed.

“Pakistan keeps testing India’s patience. This time, we’re not just warning—we’re locking down the skies.”

From 24 to 32 Airports – The Escalation

Initially, 24 airports were shut until May 10. But after Pakistan’s continued aggression, the government expanded it to 32 airports until May 15, 5:29 AM IST. Key hubs like Amritsar, Jaipur, and Srinagar are affected.

What’s Next?

  • Will Flights Resume on May 15? Depends on whether Pakistan backs off.
  • Is This Affecting Cargo Flights? Yes—civilian means no exceptions.
  • Could More Airports Be Added? If Pakistan keeps provoking, don’t be surprised.

Here’s the full list of airports closed:

  1. Adhampur
  2. Ambala
  3. Amritsar
  4. Awantipur
  5. Bathinda
  6. Bhuj
  7. Bikaner
  8. Chandigarh
  9. Halwara
  10. Hindon
  11. Jaisalmer
  12. Jammu
  13. Jamnagar
  14. Jodhpur
  15. Kandla
  16. Kangra (Gaggal)
  17. Keshod
  18. Kishangarh
  19. Kullu Manali (Bhuntar)
  20. Leh
  21. Ludhiana
  22. Mundra
  23. Naliya
  24. Pathankot
  25. Patiala
  26. Porbandar
  27. Rajkot (Hirasar)
  28. Sarsawa
  29. Shimla
  30. Srinagar
  31. Thoise
  32. Uttarlai

India isn’t just reacting—we’re setting the terms. While Pakistan cries foul, our strikes were surgical, precise, and justified. The world knows who the real aggressor is. We don’t use civilians as cover for attacking like Pakistan does.

“Pakistan wants chaos. India responds with control. 32 airports shut isn’t panic—it’s strategy.”
