On April 27, SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket with nearly 20 Starlink satellites into space. The rocket took off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 10:09 p.m. EDT.

This mission sent 23 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. Among them, 13 satellites have special technology that allows them to connect directly to cell phones. These satellites will join the many others already in orbit, working together to provide fast and reliable internet service worldwide.

The rocket’s first-stage booster, which has been used 20 times before, safely landed back on a SpaceX droneship called “Just Read the Instructions” in the Atlantic Ocean shortly after the launch.

This launch followed another SpaceX mission on Thursday, where 28 smaller Starlink satellites were launched, marking the 475th Falcon 9 rocket launch.
