
Vivo is all set to launch its new smartphone, the Vivo V60, in India next month. The phone is likely to launch on August 19 and will be the successor to the Vivo V50, which was released earlier this year in February.
Key Features (As per leaks):
- Processor: The Vivo V60 might come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, which is faster and more powerful than the Gen 3 chip used in the V50.
- Battery: It may have a huge 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, making it perfect for long use without frequent charging.
- Cameras: The phone is expected to have a triple camera setup at the back, possibly with 50MP lenses. The camera module has a unique design — a pill-shaped island with an extra lens and LED flash beside it.
- Design & Colors: The Vivo V60 may launch in three stylish colors:
- Mist Grey
- Moonlit Blue
- Auspicious Gold

Software Update:
The Vivo V60 might also introduce OriginOS, Vivo’s new custom Android 16-based operating system, in India for the first time. This would replace the current Funtouch OS and offer users a brand-new experience.

Comparison with Vivo V50:
The earlier model, Vivo V50, came with:
- A 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits brightness
- Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor
- 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging
- Dual rear cameras (50MP main + 50MP ultrawide) and a 50MP selfie camera
the Vivo V60 is shaping up to be a strong upgrade — with a larger battery, more powerful chip, extra cameras, and possibly a new user interface.
