
Football legend Lionel Messi is coming back to India after more than a decade! His last visit was in 2011 when he played in Kolkata. This time, he will tour Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi in December 2025, and fans are excited to welcome him again.

Tour Schedule and Events
Kolkata – December 13
- Starts at 9:00 AM with a meet-and-greet event.
- He will then unveil a 70-feet statue of himself at Lake Town Sribhumi on VIP Road.
- From 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Messi will visit Eden Gardens for:
- GOAT Concert (a music event)
- GOAT Cup – a 7-a-side friendly football match.
- He will play alongside Indian legends like Sourav Ganguly, Leander Paes, John Abraham, and Bhaichung Bhutia.
- West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is likely to honour Messi during the program.
- Tickets may start from ₹3,500, and the stadium is expected to be fully open for fans (68,000 seats).
- He will also conduct a football masterclass with children to motivate young players.
Ahmedabad – December 13 Evening
- Messi will attend a private event by the Adani Foundation at Shantigram Headquarters.
Mumbai – December 14
- Meet-and-greet at CCI Club at 3:45 PM.
- GOAT Concert & GOAT Cup at Wankhede Stadium at 5:30 PM.
- Note: There will be no cricket match with MS Dhoni or Virat Kohli, as some reports suggested.
- Messi will interact with Indian football team members, including Sunil Chhetri, depending on availability.
- Another masterclass with kids will be held here too.
Delhi – December 15
- Messi will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- He will then attend the GOAT Concert and GOAT Cup at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium at 2:15 PM.
- A children’s football masterclass will also take place in Delhi.

- Ticket prices are not officially confirmed yet, but are expected to start at ₹3,500 or more.
