Actor Ali Fazal has spoken out about the recent talk surrounding his film “Metro… In Dino.” While the movie is doing well at the box office and being praised by audiences, some people have criticized it for showing infidelity (cheating in relationships) in a positive light.
In an interview, Ali said that the film is not glorifying cheating. Instead, director Anurag Basu has shown what actually happens in real life. The movie reflects the complicated emotions and relationships that many people go through today.

Ali is very happy with how the movie is performing. He mentioned that people are coming to the theatres because they genuinely like the film, not just because of promotions. He even visited a theatre himself and saw people from different age groups enjoying the movie together. According to him, that’s the film’s biggest success.
There were also rumors that “Metro… In Dino” was made with a huge budget of Rs 85 crore, but Ali denied this. He said those numbers are completely wrong and hurt the people who worked hard on the film. He also added that constantly comparing a movie’s cost and earnings can give people the wrong idea about its actual success.
The movie tells four love stories happening in busy metro cities. While most people have appreciated its emotional storytelling, some have complained that it makes cheating look normal.
Ali responded by saying that the movie doesn’t judge anyone. It simply shows real-life situations, just like in its earlier version, “Life in a… Metro.” He explained that relationships have changed over time, and this new film reflects those modern-day changes. According to him, the film is about understanding human emotions, not promoting bad behavior.
The movie features a big star cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta. It is currently playing in theatres.
