The movie Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar, has earned more than ₹50 crore in just two days after its release, according to the industry tracker Sacnilk.
On the second day, Housefull 5 made nearly ₹30 crore in India across all languages. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the movie had about 38% occupancy in Hindi theaters.
The film earned ₹24 crore on the opening day, making it the fourth-biggest opening for Akshay Kumar. Only Mission Mangal (₹29.16 crore), Sooryavanshi (₹26.29 crore), and Gold (₹25.25 crore) had bigger openings.
After two days, the total box office collection of Housefull 5 reached ₹54 crore.

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and Soundarya Sharma. Other well-known actors like Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, and more also appear in the film.
The story is a murder mystery comedy about several people pretending to be the son of a rich billionaire who recently died. They compete for his fortune while on a luxury cruise ship.
The film was released in two versions — Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B — each with a different ending.

Box Office Update
Film expert Taran Adarsh shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Housefull 5 is the biggest opener among Akshay Kumar’s 2025 movies. He compared the opening collections of Akshay’s movies this year:
- Housefull 5: ₹24.35 crore
- SkyForce: ₹15.30 crore
- Kesari Chapter 2: ₹7.84 crore (limited release)
He also said Housefull 5 is the second-biggest opening for Akshay Kumar since the pandemic, after Sooryavanshi, which had ₹26.29 crore on its opening day.
