Hrithik Roshan and his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, have recently sold 3 Mumbai properties in Andheri West for a total of Rs 6.75 crore. The transactions were all registered in May 2025, according to documents from the Inspector General of Registration, Maharashtra.

The properties were located in Andheri West — a bustling suburb known for its premium residential buildings and great connectivity. It’s close to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and key commercial hubs like Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), SEEPZ, and Lower Parel. Naturally, this makes it a desirable spot for celebrities and rich Mumbai locals alike.

Inside the Transactions

The first property belonged to Rakesh Roshan in Veejays Niwas CHS Ltd, Andheri West. It was a 95.26 sq. m. (about 1,025 sq. feet) flat with 2 parking spaces. The selling price was Rs 3.75 crore, with Rs 18.75 lakh in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in registration charges.

The second one was a 60.89 sq. m. (about 655 sq. feet) flat in Raheja Classique, Andheri West. It was selling for Rs 2.20 crore, with Rs 13.20 lakh in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in registration charges.

The third, a tiny 22.30 sq. m. (about 240 sq. feet) unit, was owned by Hrithik Roshan himself. It went for Rs 80 lakh, with Rs 4.80 lakh in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in registration charges.

Andheri West is a preferred area for many Mumbai celebrities. The neighborhood offers a perfect blend of lifestyle, connectivity, and prestige. Selling properties here makes financial sense when you want to consolidate or move on to a bigger venture — just like the Roshans did.

A Legacy of Success — From Karan Arjun to Krrish

Rakesh Roshan is a veteran filmmaker who gave us classics like Karan Arjun (1995) and Krrish. His son, Hrithik Roshan, has become a superstar in his own right with numerous blockbusters under his belt.

The selling of these properties shows us something we often forget — superstar lifestyle is a business, not a fairytale. Sometimes it’s about letting go of a piece of the past to make room for future goals.

So, the next time you walk past a high-rise in Andheri West, remember: this might be a place where a superstar made a smart move.
