ITC Hotels Ltd has reported a 53% increase in its net profit for the April-June 2025 quarter, reaching Rs 133.71 crore, up from Rs 87.16 crore in the same period last year. The company also saw a 15.5% rise in revenue, which went up to Rs 815.54 crore from Rs 705.84 crore.
This growth was mainly driven by a strong performance in room bookings and food services. The average daily room rates (ADR) grew by 9%, and room occupancy increased by 2.75%, leading to a 13% rise in overall revenue per room (RevPAR). Revenue from food and beverages also went up by 13%, thanks to more banquets and outdoor catering services.

Expansion Plans
ITC Hotels said it has big plans for the future. It aims to operate 220 hotels with more than 20,000 rooms by 2030. As of now, it has already crossed 200 hotels, with 143 currently operating and 58 more under development.
In this quarter alone, the company signed deals for eight new hotels in places like Goa, Lucknow, Mysore, Bodhgaya, and Vrindavan, adding around 700 new rooms.

Business Outlook
ITC Hotels mentioned that geopolitical issues in May 2025 caused some short-term impact, but business recovered quickly afterward.
Looking ahead, the company is positive about the Indian hospitality sector. It believes that:
- India’s young population,
- Rising domestic travel, and
- Higher consumer spending
will continue to boost hotel demand. The company also expects room demand to grow faster than room supply, which will help increase hotel occupancy and earnings. Additionally, government support in tourism and infrastructure is expected to further drive growth in the sector.
