MG Motor India has launched the MG Cyberster electric roadster at a price of Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom). But here’s the exciting part — if you had pre-reserved it, you’ll get a Rs 2.50 lakh discount. That means your Cyberster will cost just Rs 72.49 lakh.
This is not just any launch. This is MG’s boldest step yet in the EV performance space.

Available Only at Premium MG Select Showrooms
Don’t expect to find the MG Cyberster at your regular MG showroom. This beauty is exclusive. It will only be sold through the new MG Select dealerships. These are premium outlets, also selling the MG M9 electric MPV, which is priced at Rs 69.90 lakh.
The MG Cyberster comes as a fully built unit (CBU), while the MG M9 is assembled locally using CKD kits.
Performance Like Never Before
MG is calling the Cyberster the world’s fastest MG — and it might just live up to the hype. Powered by dual motors (one on each axle), the car produces 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque. That’s wild.
It has all-wheel drive, a 77 kWh battery, and a super thin body design at just 110 mm height.
With Launch Control Mode, the MG Cyberster can hit 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. That’s supercar-level acceleration, from a company known for family SUVs.
Range and Safety — Checked
MG says the Cyberster can go up to 580 km on a single charge (MIDC). That’s enough for a Mumbai-Goa round trip without breaking a sweat.
To keep things safe, it has an advanced thermal management system to protect the battery in Indian conditions.
The chassis and suspension? That’s not an afterthought either. Former Formula 1 engineer Marco Fainello worked on it. It has a double wishbone suspension and perfect 50:50 weight distribution. Translation? It’s a blast to drive, even on bumpy roads.
Stopping power is no joke either. With Brembo 4-piston front brakes, it can go from 100 to 0 in just 33 metres.
The MG Cyberster is not just an electric car. It’s a statement. It’s for those who want performance, speed, and style — but electric. With a Rs 2.5 lakh discount for early birds, MG is giving India a serious reason to upgrade.
If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a roadster that turns heads and respects the planet, MG Cyberster might just be your car.
