Samruddhi Expressway: 4 Family Members, Including Businessman, Killed in Road Accident…

A tragic accident on the Samruddhi Expressway took the lives of four family members from Umred, including well-known businessman Radheshyam Jaiswal (67).

The accident happened around 8 PM on Thursday near channel number 215, between Wanoja and Karanja, about 55 km from Nagpur. The family was returning home to Umred after attending a function in Pune.

According to the police, the driver Chetan Helge (25) lost control of the car, which hit a divider and rolled off the expressway.

Two family members, Madhuri Jaiswal (52) and Vaidehi Jaiswal (25), died on the spot. Radheshyam Jaiswal and Sangeeta Jaiswal (55) were seriously injured and later died in a hospital in Washim.

The driver, Chetan, suffered serious injuries and is currently being treated.

Police are investigating the accident to find out the exact cause, looking into road conditions and whether human error played a role.

Radheshyam Jaiswal was a respected figure in Umred’s business community and was known for his contributions to local trade. His sudden death has left the town in shock and mourning.
