Samsung has introduced its first-ever glasses-free 3D OLED gaming monitors in India. These new monitors are part of Samsung’s Odyssey series and are designed to provide an immersive gaming experience with 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate for smooth gameplay.
The new Odyssey G8 models come in two sizes: 27-inch and 32-inch. The Odyssey G8 (G81SF model) is the world’s first 4K OLED monitor with a 140Hz refresh rate, offering top-tier performance for gamers. The Odyssey G9 (G91F model) is a 49-inch ultrawide monitor with dual QHD display and a 1000R curved screen, providing gamers with a wide and immersive view. It allows you to play in either a 32:9 or 21:9 aspect ratio for even better gameplay.
Odyssey 3D Technology
One of the standout features of these new Odyssey monitors is the glasses-free 3D technology. Thanks to advanced eye-tracking technology and special algorithms, the Odyssey 3D automatically detects content and lets users enjoy it in 3D, all without needing glasses. Samsung has partnered with Nexon to optimize this new technology for the game The First Berserker: Khazan.
These monitors also feature AI-powered video conversion, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms response time, making them perfect for high-speed gaming. They come with built-in speakers that support Spatial Audio and are compatible with AMD FreeSync for smoother visuals.

Odyssey G9
The Odyssey G9 is another impressive model with VESA DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10+ certification. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium. It also includes useful features like picture-in-picture modes and Auto Switch+, making it easy to switch between devices.
Prices and Availability
The Odyssey 3D G90XF is priced at Rs 1,27,299, while the Odyssey G8 models (27-inch and 32-inch) are priced at Rs 91,299 and Rs 1,18,999, respectively. The Odyssey G9 49-inch ultrawide model costs Rs 94,099. These monitors are available for purchase on the Samsung India website, e-commerce platforms, and retail stores across India. Samsung is also offering launch benefits of up to Rs 10,000.
