Senco Gold Q4 FY25 Revenue Surges 19% to ₹1,300 Cr

Senco Gold’s stock rose by 5% after the company reported strong financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY25. Its revenue increased by 19% to over ₹1,300 crore.

The company saw a 23% growth in retail business during Q4, thanks to the wedding and festive season, which led to more customers visiting their stores. As a result:

  • Invoices went up by 6%
  • Average ticket value (ATV) increased by 16%
  • Average selling price (ASP) rose by 17%

Same-store sales growth (SSSG) stood at 18.4% for the quarter. Smaller cities (Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns) grew faster than metros and Tier 2 cities.

One of the biggest highlights was a 39% rise in diamond jewelry sales in Q4, compared to just 9% growth in the previous 9 months. For the full year, diamond jewelry sales grew by 14.2%.

Due to high fluctuations in gold prices, many customers exchanged their old gold jewelry. Old gold accounted for 40% of total sales, with 61% of it coming from new customers (not previously linked to Senco).

During Q4, Senco launched 4 new stores in:

  • BT Road/Dunlop (Kolkata)
  • Budge Budge (Kolkata)
  • Ghatal (Medinipur)
  • Varanasi II (Uttar Pradesh)

Full-Year Highlights (FY25):

  • Revenue crossed ₹6,200 crore, with 19.4% retail growth and 14.6% SSSG growth
  • Non-East India revenue grew by 23% to ₹1,100 crore
  • A total of 15 new showrooms were opened (6 were franchises)
  • The company now has 175 stores, including 72 franchise outlets and 1 in Dubai

Looking ahead to Q1 FY26 (April–June 2025), Senco is hopeful of strong performance during Poila Baisakh and Akshay Tritiya, aiming for 18%+ year-on-year growth. The company also expects better profit margins, mainly due to strong diamond jewelry sales.

Expansion Plans for FY26:

  • Open 5-7 new stores soon, as part of a target of 20-22 new stores this year
  • Launch about 70 new SIS (Store-in-Store) outlets, aiming for a total of 100 SIS outlets by March 2026
  • Set up 57 new SENNES stores under its subsidiary Sennes Fashion, focusing on lifestyle products like lab-grown diamonds, leather items, and perfumes

Senco Gold is a well-known jewelry brand in India. It sells a wide range of products including gold, diamond, platinum, Polki, Kundan, Jadau, and silver jewelry, along with precious stones.
