Trump Organization Launches “Trump World Centre” in Pune
What’s Happening?
The Trump Organization has announced the launch of its first commercial project in India, the “Trump World Centre” in Pune. Partnering with Tribeca Developers and Kundan Spaces, this project will feature two iconic glass towers with over 27 floors of office space, spanning 1.6 million square feet. Expected to generate sales exceeding $289.6 million, the project highlights India’s growing market for luxury real estate.
Why It Matters
India is already home to four Trump-branded residential complexes, making it the largest market outside the US for the Trump family’s business. This move into the commercial sector signifies a major expansion of their portfolio, further strengthening the Trump brand’s presence in India.

He also mentioned that launching the Pune project was a natural step after the success of their earlier residential projects in India.
Concerns and Criticism
Although the US president is not directly involved in managing the family business, the Trump Organization often faces criticism for its foreign projects. Many worry that these deals could create conflicts of interest. However, the company continues to expand its global business.
India’s Growing Market
India’s office market grew significantly in 2024. Leasing activity increased by 23% across top cities, showing a strong demand for high-quality commercial spaces.
