Bollywood superstar Salman Khan faced another security scare this week when a man and a woman tried to enter his Mumbai residence. Both were caught and arrested by Mumbai Police, raising fresh concerns about the safety of the actor at his Galaxy Apartments home in Bandra West.

The man, Jitendra Kumar Singh, 23, from Chhattisgarh, was first spotted near Salman Khan’s house on Tuesday morning.

When the security policeman asked him to leave, Singh reacted angrily and smashed his mobile phone on the ground. Later that evening, Singh tried a bolder move.

He followed a car belonging to a resident inside Galaxy Apartments and slipped in but was caught and handed over to the police.

The next day, a woman named Isha Chhabra, 32, also attempted to enter the building around 3:30 AM. She managed to get as far as the lift before the police stopped her. Both have been charged with trespassing and are now in custody.

Salman Khan’s security is no joke. After a major attack in April last year, when two men allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang opened fire outside his residence, the actor’s safety became a national concern. The Bishnoi gang reportedly targeted Salman due to a long-standing grudge linked to the actor’s infamous 1998 blackbuck hunting case, which offended their community.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) even named Salman Khan as their top target.

Since then, Mumbai Police have provided Salman Khan with ‘Y-plus’ security cover, one of the highest levels of protection.

He has also renovated his home extensively to keep threats at bay. Even after the tragic murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique by the same gang, police tightened security further. Siddique was a close friend of the actor, making the threat very personal.

At a recent press meet, Salman admitted that his enhanced security limits his freedom. He joked, “No detours, just straight from my house to the shoot and back.” It’s a simple way to say that while he enjoys his fame, it comes with serious costs — constant caution and no room for spontaneity.

In short, Salman Khan’s security scare is a reminder of the fine line celebrities walk every day between privacy and protection. It also shows how law enforcement must stay one step ahead to prevent danger. For the fans, it’s a relief that the police acted swiftly this time — but also a reminder that threats don’t disappear easily.
