Lightricks Launches AI Model That Streams 60-Second Videos in Real Time

Lightricks is making waves again. This time, it’s with a big update to its open-source LTXV model.

The new LTXV now lets users stream AI-generated videos over 60 seconds long, in real time. Yes, you read that right. While most AI models still struggle to go past a few seconds, Lightricks just jumped ahead.

Live Video, Right Away

Here’s what makes this different. The LTXV model starts showing video instantly. The first second appears almost immediately. Then it keeps building the scene, second by second. No long wait. No cuts. Just smooth, live visuals.

And it doesn’t stop there. You can also control the video while it’s generating. Want to change a character’s pose? Or maybe shift the style or depth? You can do that in real time, as the video keeps running.

Easy to Run, Free to Use

Lightricks trained LTXV on fully licensed data, which is a big plus. Many models out there don’t do that.

Also, this one works well on regular consumer GPUs. You don’t need a crazy high-end setup. Just a decent machine.

It comes in two versions:

  • A strong 13B model
  • A lighter, mobile-friendly 2B version

Both are open-source and available on GitHub and Hugging Face. Totally free to try.

Tied to a Full Studio

The model also connects with LTX Studio, Lightricks’ own production platform. That means you can move from generating to editing without switching tools. It’s a smart move for creators who want speed and flow.

Why This Update Matters

Most AI video tools today give you 3 to 5 seconds of video after a long wait. That’s not enough for real storytelling or creative work.

With Lightricks LTXV, creators can now direct a scene live, control how it plays out, and actually get a full minute of output. All without lag or expensive hardware.

This update is not just a step forward. It’s a leap. AI video isn’t just about short demos anymore. It’s about making something longer, live, and truly creative.

Lightricks just proved that the future of video isn’t in the cloud or behind a paywall. It’s in your hands.
