South Korea Urges End to North Korea-Russia Military Ties
In a significant move, South Korea’s Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul has called for an immediate halt to military cooperation between North Korea and Russia. Speaking in Seoul on March 22, Cho emphasized that North Korea should not be rewarded for its actions in the ongoing Ukraine conflict.
Trilateral Talks in Tokyo
Cho is currently in Tokyo for a crucial meeting with his Chinese and Japanese counterparts. This marks the first such trilateral discussion since 2023. The talks aim to address regional security concerns and reinforce the commitment to UN sanctions against North Korea.
